My name is Funmi, and I am a married to a Dutch man. We live together in Haarlem. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters degree in development and socialization in childhood and adolescence from Universiteit Utrecht. I have recently obtained certifications as a behaviour technician and currently working with kids with autism. I also have experiences with typically developing children. I can help as a 'begeleider' in doing the following activites for children with developmental delays: • Accompanying in daily life activities (brushing, toileting etc).
• Accompanying in play and leisure activities
• Accompanying in using appropriate communication.
• Guiding and correcting undesirable behaviors.
• Helping with personal ‘verzorging’.
For typically developing children, I can design various age appropriate programs that will aid their overal development.
